He is overall a good professor and he seems to mean well, He's just a rather hard marker on assignments. His feedback isn't really clear like his grading criteria. Things like "I would've liked to hear about this..." or "I would've have written about this..." Babe...Are you writing the paper or me? Just frustrating because it's very opinionated.
Tony is a great professor! His lectures were very entertaining as he would relate the course material to many real-life retail examples with reference to all of our favourite retail stores! Amazing prof!
This guy is such a funny prof! would definitely take his class again as he is such an informative teacher. He is such a great prof that he made all the midterms the same! Anyways he just reminds you to download the readings Yah? every single class... Gives me a headache sometimes but he is sponsored by CSCA YAH?
Very good prof, as his lectures are very interesting and engaging. Hes also very humorous and gives bonus/extra marks for attending class and doing short exercises. Assignments are also very straightforward and easy. The only downside is that the readings he assigns are very long and tedious, and his marking is a little tough.
Tony is a great prof. Nice guy who definitely wants to see his students succeed. His lectures were pretty good, a little long sometimes but allowed for several breaks. Relates them to real life experiences. He does mark a little difficult, however he is a fair professor. If you do all the readings and assignments you will pass the course.
He really cares about his students and you can tell he knows a lot about the retail industry. He is very considerate and gives opportunity for extra credit. However, the readings he assigns are long and plentiful. There is also a few group projects which worked out pretty well for this class.
Tony is a very passionate person, he loves what he does and I respect him for that. His assignments are long especially the last one which is 15 pages group assignment. I over studied for his mid term, overall was pretty easy. He is a tough marker so beware of that. He post notes after so showing up is not mandatory, especially for a 8-11am lecture
One of the hardest GEO courses. The group project took a piece of my soul with it. You'll put in a lot of hours, but (if you make it) you'll come out as a much stronger student with new resources. Also when he says an essay should be "up to 1500 words", he means 1500 words minimum. He's a very smart prof. just stay on your A-game with this one.
AMAZING PROF. Best class I've ever taken at Ryerson. It's so practical and Tony makes geography fun. Other profs can learn a lot from his style of teaching.
If you want some real world experience take his class. He is a top dog in the Geo-demographic industry, has lots of connection and gives you the hardest project that you will ever do, but will be a genius when it is all over. He will invite well known guest speakers
