She teaches eh (reads off slides & some elaboration), but it's otherwise birdy: marks generously, sample practice tests similar to actual ones, allows several crib sheets, and slides are good (long, detailed & explicit/simple simultaneously).

Highly recommend taking MTH380 with professor Manzhos over other profs. She actually made statistics enjoyable and really wants students to do well. There were only 3 tests and you get to bring a cheat sheet(s) for each one. Her lecture slides are quite long but very organized and explain topics easily which is rare to find in most profs!!

my favourite math course as a comp-sci student @ tmu so far, even if you're not very good at math its really easy to pass, the course is in person but each test she allows you a cheat/formula sheet which makes passing the test with little to no knowledge really easy, if you study even a bit with her slides and the problems assigned you can get an A

I used to hate statistics, but she made it clear and easy to understand. I dropped the course in the winter and retook it in the summer( in person) and it turned out to be my best decision.

Her lecture notes are well detailed and go through the concepts thoroughly (no need to go to class, just read her notes on D2L). Assessments are fair and similar to the practice material. The R project is fair and easy (you don't need to know much R). I can't recommend this prof enough, you will gain a new appreciation for stats in CMTH480.

Although this class won't be offered online again, her tests are the exact same as the sample tests she posts. I mean the acct same questions and amount of question types as the sample. The only difference is the values and wording of question changes but if you practice off her sample tests and know how to do them you're set.

Great professor, tests are fair, and she cares for her students. If you review her notes and do the practice tests, you will do fine in the course.

Course outline consists of only 3 major assessments. Lectures were boring and hard to stay in, but the sample tests and examples in the lectures are very similar to those in the tests.
