Truly a blessing. He gave us a list of questions that were going to show up on the midterm. He even cancels classes so you have time to study.

He's a great guy, very helpful. Too many assignments and projects. Lectures are long but he's a good teacher and you enjoy learning in his class.

He's the king of OR I. His notes are amazing, but you have to go to class to fill out the example problems that are not completed in the notes he posts online. For 405 the project was extremely hard, and a lot of people failed the midterm, but he still taught it well. Though after this year they're changing 405 to something unrelated to programming

Excellent Prof. Teaches really well. Class examples are really well explained and help understand the course. Also the example problems that students do on their own under the profs supervision are excellent way to learn.

I remember Prof Quan helping me alot with programming issues and was pretty flexible with dates provided, he knew you were working hard on the assignments. I still keep in touch with him from time to time.
