I liked Mo. He was funny and knowledgeable on so many areas (history, geography, even gardening!), and he made learning French interesting. As a non-Canadian, I made him aware that my knowledge of French is 0, and he helped me out a lot. He made sure we understood each topic before moving on, and took time to answer questions. Loved his videos btw!
This class dragged my 4.0 average down as i was barely able to pass. Nice person but no tutor or office hours during summer classes + poor quality photocopy from texts + prof doesn't explain well = tough to follow. Be ready to use google A LOT just to grasp concepts. Prof not tech savy so only using Word doc (no format, tables, etc).
It's a heavy accusation, but I strongly believe he is racist. I took his class a few years ago, and was immediately racially profiled... along with the other Black student in our class. After him telling me to drop his course on the first day of the class, I worked hard despite his constant attempts to put me down. I regret not reporting him.
Guy cares about how well you do. Use the worksheets and resources you can find. A little practice each week and you'll do fine. Lectures are long and can be grueling (and can get boring) but he tries his best.
Mo was a great prof and very clear in his instructions. The class got a bit boring here and there because of the time and how long the lectures were but other than that it was pretty much fine.
Mo is a very caring professor. Do not skip class because he does not use a textbook or post much online! Everything he teaches will be tested, there are rarely any surprises. Do his practice sheets that he posts online to help study. My only complaint is that he is very old fashion, class starts on the dot, no food, no phones/electronics.
Mo is knowledgeable. His digressions are interesting and informative. If you study, pay attention, participate and dont skip class you will do just fine and learn a great deal. Im sorry he isnt doing CFRE 301.
wants to help students and wants everyone to do well. encourages questions and helps if you're struggling
Made me want to quit the course... he was knowledgeable but he is very bad at teaching
Very good French professor, I learned a lot from him. His tests and exams are straight forward, no surprises. Pay attention in class as it will help with the examinations.
