The greatest professor at Ryerson University, hands down. Would highly recommend taking Media Writing. A terrific teacher who genuinely cares about his students. He's encouraging, inspirational, and gives great and timely feedback. Helps people interested in writing get out of their shell and overcome their shyness to find their voice.
Amazing prof who stands by you 100%. His selflessness and caring personality is unheard of. Will back you up and stand by you when others don't. Very supportive and inspirational. However Don shouldn't be afraid of criticizing people's work and being stricter. It will help students realize what they are doing wrong or can improve on. Great person!
Great prof. Very helpful if you ask the right questions. He gives good feedback on work and really emphasizes your strengths instead of pointing out your weaknesses. He recommends interesting artists and is very inspirational. Quiet, but intelligent and helpful.
Quiet guy but very passionate about what he teaches. He's great for advice and constructive criticism on your work.
Modern movements, or the portfolio class was so inspiring. he is just FULL of information on different photographers and always willing to look at your work and give you feedback. a wonderful teacher - my favourite at Ryerson.
Don is probably the sweetest and most hard-working professor in the Image Arts department. He seems genuinely pleased at the successes of his students and will work himself ragged on their behalf. He may seem shy or understated at times, but his passion really comes through when he's given a chance to teach the material he loves.
He is a nice guy but he is always wrong.
Just teachers cannot be better; a great professor. I was so happy I took his class, and I feel very grateful.
He is the type of prof you will never forget your whole life and who you will always be grateful to. He makes his students feel like they have all the potential in the world. He is the nicest, smartest and most inspiring prof ever. who has tons of successful and thankful fans/students.
He creates a relaxed environment where students work can evolve and grow. His advice is always useful. Don is very well read, and can always expand your understanding of pretty much anything you have been researching. We are seriously considering starting a fan club.
